Background
 
Desi, a native of Rosses Point, in Co. Sligo completed his Commerce degree in National University of Ireland, Galway in 2002. He then undertook his chartered accountancy training with the Sligo firm Gilroy Gannon, and qualified in 2006 as a Chartered Accountant. Desi then went on to specialise in Tax, and qualified as registered tax consultant in 2007. Prior to joining FPM in 2009, Desi also worked for Bombardier Aerospace dealing with corporation and international tax.
