Background:
Feargal McCormack has lived in Warrenpoint all his life. Following completion of his Economics Honours Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy at The Queen’s University of Belfast, Feargal joined international accountancy firm KPMG in September 1983 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1986. Following appointment as a Manager in KPMG in 1987, Feargal joined the Industrial Development Board (now Invest NI) as a Principal Officer (one of the youngest in the history of the Northern Ireland Civil Service). In 1991 Feargal established FPM Chartered Accountants, which has achieved average annual turnover growth of 20% and is now an eleven Partner practice.

Corporate Finance and Turnaround Management
- Co-ordinated and led negotiations on a range of company sales and purchases, including Management Buy-Outs and Management Buy-Ins in a variety of sectors. Led Transaction Support Teams in a range of corporate finance assignments.
